Malang together with Mr. Hussein Biruar, Social Enterprise Division Coordinator attends the "Fourth International Conference on Creativity and Innovation for and from Grassroots (ICCIG 4)" at India Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India yesterday, January 28 along with the other delegates of Philippines and asian countries like India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
29 October 2018, our office has received a report regarding a certain profiler in Marawi City namely AISAH SARIP who introduced herself as an employee of DTI-ARMM.
She has been conducting a profiling of the Internally Displace Persons (IDPs) in Marawi City promising them of a Green Card eligible for business and livelihood intervention from DTI and has been using the name of Ms. Jamila Aman as her head and over-all-in charge of the profiling in Lanao Del Sur.
Ms. Jamila Aman is currently employed at the DTI-ARMM Regional Office and HAS NEVER BEEN INVOLVED IN ANY WAY WITH THE PROFILING OF IDPS.
Regional Secretary Atty. Anwar A. Malang continue his support to Social Enterprise as the DTI-ARMM shift to a new paradigm on livelihood programs through the creation of Social Enterprise Division that aims to alleviate poverty and uplift the lives of the underprivileged in the autonomous region by producing a unique pool of entrepreneurs who work for their own social mission.
Recently on November 22, 2018, he along with his staff personally visit the first established Social Enterprise (SE) in Barangay Kaba-Kaba, North Upi, Maguindanao.
